Welcome to Sunrise!

I am so glad you’re here! My name is Ysmay. I’m an entrepreneur, web designer, and yoga teacher, and — perhaps more relevantly, I am a woman on a mission.

There is way too much negativity in the world, and I want to help people start the day off right.

Sunrise, which originally started as a newsletter on my blog SuvataYoga.com, is here to do just that: to help you start the day on the bright side, and share some interesting stuff to carry forward into the world.

What you can expect:

  • Not-so-trending: There are interesting things going on in the world, but they get drowned out by the negative. Every day I’ll share at least one interesting article you probably didn’t see.

  • Morning Jam: I love music, and I wake up every day with a song stuck in my head. Every day, I’ll send you a morning jam. You may love it, you may hate it, or you may never have heard of it before.

  • Quick Bites: I sum up a few interesting headlines that you can either click through to read, or just take in as a snippet.

  • and who knows! Cooking videos, memes, random cuteness, or whatever interesting and non-negative thing I happened to stumble upon.

New posts come out every Monday-Friday at 5am EST, and they’ll hit your inbox shortly thereafter.

Why Read via Email?

Because starting the day with nothing but negativity in your inbox is a horrible thing. Life is too short to be surrounded by negativity.

I know that when we are intellectually bored, we start scrolling, and when we start scrolling, we get flooded with negative messages.

Sunrise is here to distract you and cheer you up.

As a free reader, you get Sunrise in your inbox Monday-Friday at 5am ET, and access to all issues published in the last 5 days.

Why Subscribe?

When you subscribe to Sunrise, you not only get our daily email in your inbox every Monday-Friday at 5am ET, you also get access to our full archive forever, and you can join the community and engage in the comments.

You can also participate in the monthly Pick My Brain session where I’ll share advice, knowledge, or in the very least opinions, about whatever you ask me.
